We have been at Eat! Fraser Valley for the past two days. The show wraps up today. We attended two years ago and then participated in Eat! Vancouver earlier this year. At the previous show we met an individual who is now opening a business in Quesnel later this year bringing new jobs into Quesnel. After that positive experience we booked the Fraser Valley show - certainly not expecting the same results, as those kinds of things don't happen that often. What we've been pleasantly surprised with is the keen interest in Quesnel and the positive feedback on the beauty of the community. That people are surprised because they think of Quesnel as a 'mill town' and then are welcomed by a community that embraces being BC's most beautiful small city.
We are so proud of the residents and businesses that make Quesnel what it is. The positive feedback we hear at shows wouldn't be possible without your entrepreneurship, your love of Quesnel and your ambition!
