On Friday evening a fire erupted at Burns Lake's largest employer, Babine Forest Products. This is a tragedy for the community and we want to extend our support to Burns Lake and help any way we can.
If you would like to help the Burns Lake Rotary Club will be accepting donations for the Lakes District Tragedy Fund to assist community members as we cope with the devastating accident at Babine Forest Products. Cheque donations may be made to Burns Lake Rotary Club - PO Box 616, Burns Lake, V0J 1E0 The Rotary Club will be organizing a benefit for the Tragedy Fund on Saturday, February 4th.
